I have been doing business with Thompson RV for about 15 years now buying mostly parts as well as having service work done. Every time I have gone into their store I am treated like I am the most important customer that they have. The staff always has a smile on their face and is very knowledgeable in the products and services that they sell. It doesn't matter if you are looking for a $2.00 light bulb or a $30,000.00 RV you are treated like their most valuable customer. At Thompson RV you get small town customer service with big city inventory to choose from. They say to be good at something you have to truly love what you do. When we first walked into Thompson R.V., we knew we were going to do business there. Friendly staff and easy to talk to, but most of all, very informative. We went home that day, with a trailer that was just what we were looking for! We have it winterized every year. Never have to wait, just call, make a date, they take care of the rest. The showroom and parts dept. are great to browse in and always have what we are looking for. Friendly, knowledgable staff are always available. They once mailed our order to us so we wouldn't have to drive on snowy/icy roads. Now thats service! We recommend Thompson R.V. to all our friends.

We first became acquainted with Thompson RV in 1994 when we purchased a 19ft. Prowler camp trailer. When we arrived and their dealership, we were greeted by the nicest people you could ever imagine. Five minutes after talking with them, my wife and I looked at each other and we both knew from right then, we had just made friends for life. Little did we know, as we dealt with them further, the Thompson family would seem more like part of our family. From the moment we arrived, there was absolutely NO SALES PRESSURE from any of them at all. The environment was so relaxed and so down to earth. The Thompson family at Thompson RV ALWAYS made us feel welcome and cared about. They always bent over backwards for us in whatever our needs were and went well beyond their abilities. We bought our first 5th wheel trailer last summer and looked in quite a few different places of business. When we pulled into Thompson RV, we were greeted with a big smile from Corrin. She was very friendly and showed us only what we wanted to see. (no big sales pitch, which really runs me off from dealerships). She answered all of our questions, showed us around and we ended up buying our trailer from them because we felt very comfortable and not rushed into anything.We were new to the whole "trailer camping" thing, so we must have called them a hundred times, while up camping, to ask questions and they always took the time to help us. Not only did we feel welcomed by her, but as soon as you walk through the doors of Thompson RV, there's always a smiling face, waiting to help you with what you need. Definitely a Family business with a lot of pride in what they do.

We went to buy a trailer last fall, and a very good friend of ours recommended we come to Thompson RV. I first comparison shopped a little here in the Tri-cities, and found what I thought was the trailer I wanted. However, I did not like at all the sales tactics that were applied here in the Tri-cities. So, my wife and I came down and met Carolyn and told her what we thought we wanted. She then was so gracious — she said we should look at the next two model lines up from the entry model we had selected. She showed us the top of the line, and then the middle of the line. She said it would be good to at least know the differences before deciding on what we would purchase if we stayed with that floor plan. What we found is that for a very small difference in price, the amenities were so much more what we wanted. She recommended a good lunch place, and my wife and I went and talked it over. We called Carolyn back and bought our Timber Ridge Trailer! It is absolutely perfect for us and we love it so much! We really appreciated the honest, no pressure discussions with Carolyn and she readily gave us her insights based on her experience in the industry. It was the best buying experience we have ever had. And another thing that really amazed me is that when we brought the trailer back for the free first winterizing, your mechanic had me follow him and watch exactly how to do it. He even gave me some tubing to make one of the steps easier. Now I can winterize the trailer myself and not have to drive it from Richland to Pendleton! Anytime I have had a question, your service staff has been able to answer it and explain it thoroughly to me. Thompson RV is in a class of its own as far as we are concerned, and we highly recommend Thompson RV to all our friends!

We LOVE Thompson RV!! Our first RV was purchased from them and they went the distance to ensure we were happy and knew exactly how to operate every feature before pulling off the lot. We purchased a newer RV about 2 years later and again were treated with the same great service as before. They are very customer friendly and very knowledgeable about the products they sell. I do believe they truly enjoy what they do! They are always available....while on the road a couple of years ago (novices that we are) we had a few instances that tried our patience and left us wondering how to handle the situation. After making a few calls to the dealership they were able to figure out the problem (both things very minor) and we were able to continue our vacation stress-free and without having to call someone to assess the problem which could have been very expensive. The entire crew will meet you with a smile and make purchasing from them a wonderful experience. Thank you Thompson RV for all you do!

Thompson RV is the only place we will even consider shopping for an RV. We have purchased our last 3 travel trailers from the Thompson family and felt we were treated with respect each time. We have never felt pressured to purchase something we didn't want or need. They are always available to answer any7 questions we might have and to assist with any issues that arise. In July 2010 we started looking for a new pull trailer as our family had grown and we needed more room than our current trailer had. As it had been quite sometime since we had looked for trailers, I had had the time to write down everything I wanted in a new trailer the next time we bought one as I knew it would likely be the one we retired in. Our daughter was helping me to look as she was a much better internet surfer than I was. She located a Komfort trailer at Thompson RV in Pendleton., Oregon that sounded like it met all the features I was looking for. Sara called me and said "Go onto this website and look at this trailer". I immediately did so. The trailer was exactly what I was looking for. My husband and I went over the following weekend to Pendleton to look at the one I had seen on the website. When we got there and met with Carolyn Thompson, we were told that the one we wanted to look at had been sold the day before. Carolyn could sense our disappointment. She immediately called the factory and was told that 2 more trailers just like the one we wanted to see were being manufactured at that time. We were able to have one designated for us and were able to indicate the colors we wanted that were available for this model as well as some other amenities we wanted. Carolyn also made it possible for us to look through the one still on the lot that would be just like the one we were ordering/
When we went to pick up the trailer, Burt Thompson went through all details and operations of the trailer. He spent in the area of 3 hours with us. Never once did we feel that we were rushed through the process. After having the trailer for a few weeks, we had questions on things. Calls were placed to Burt. He was either readily available or called us back as soon as he could to help us out.
What a great experience we had with the Thompson family. It truly made driving 4 hours from Boise to Pendleton worth the trip and we love our trailer!!!!!
